Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek retains the intimate ambience and charm of the private residence it once was. Originally built by a cotton magnate in 1925, the 16th-century Italian Renaissance-style estate was transformed 55 years later into a world-class restaurant and hotel with 143 elegantly furnished rooms and suites. Since its inception, the Mansion has consistently ranked as the only five-star, five-diamond hotel in Texas. In 2007, Rosewood announced a $20-million hotel and restaurant redesign project beginning with the Mansion's storied restaurant and bar. The innovative project adds modern design elements while paying tribute to signature historic and architectural details. It results in three distinct venues, including the contemporary and elegant restaurant, a 22-seat formal Chef's Room and the comfortable, stylish bar, which all feature the acclaimed contemporary American cuisine of executive chef John Tesar. A second phase of the renovation follows in early 2008 and includes all guestrooms, suites and public areas.

Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts manages properties worldwide including Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek and Hotel Crescent Court in Dallas, The Carlyle in New York, CordeValle in San Martin, California, Inn of the Anasazi in Santa Fe, Las Ventanas al Paraíso in Los Cabos, Mexico, Hotel Seiyo Ginza in Tokyo, Japan, and a triumvirate of world-class Caribbean properties – Rosewood Little Dix Bay on Virgin Gorda, Caneel Bay on St. John and Jumby Bay on Antigua.
